Fiji has over 300 islands in its group and the northern islands are open to warm ocean currents that swing down from Australia and New Zealand. Many of these Northern islands are uninhabited and the waters that surround them have many different species of fish. The ocean currents bring with them vast amounts of plankton and schools of baitfish and pelagic gamefish.
